McIntosh Chiefs Varsity had no trouble on offense today, winning big over Griffin 14-2
Rebecca Muh, Junior, struck out her 500th batter as a McIntosh Varsity Chief! What an amazing accomplishment! We cannot wait to see what else she will do!
McIntosh Chiefs Varsity got things moving in the first inning, when Rebecca Muh drew a walk, scoring one run.
McIntosh Chiefs Varsity tallied five runs in the second inning. McIntosh Chiefs Varsity batters contributing to the big inning included Muh, Ansley Tucker, Lizzy Lemos, and Jessica Dellatore, all driving in runs in the inning.
Muh was the winning pitcher for McIntosh Chiefs Varsity. She lasted one and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and one run while striking out four and walking zero. Abby Terry threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
McIntosh Chiefs Varsity collected seven hits. Tucker and Savannah Moore each had multiple hits for McIntosh Chiefs Varsity. Moore and Tucker all had two hits to lead McIntosh Chiefs Varsity. McIntosh Chiefs Varsity was sure-handed and didn’t commit a single error. Moore made the most plays with six.
